AttorneyPoint.com is owned by attorneys Steve Klearman, Esq. and Kevin Wang, PhD.

Steve Klearman, Esq.

Steve has a long background in law, technology and art. He has worked in both large and small litigation firms while establishing wide recognition as a digital artist and designer.

Steve came to Nevada in 1988 and worked for five years under the supervision of former Nevada Governor, Robert List, at what was then Beckley, Singleton, DeLanoy, Jemison and List. (Beckley, Singleton merged with Lewis and Roca in 2008). Steve later served as Managing Shareholder of Barber, Klearman and Associates.

Since 2005, Steve has been the Managing Shareholder of Steven J. Klearman & Associates, a civil litigation law firm located in Reno, Nevada, and he practices primarily in the areas of injury law and general civil litigation.

Steve was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He studied as a fellowship student of Mandarin Chinese in Taipei, Taiwan before receiving his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri. He then studied international law at the University of Notre Dame’s Concannon Programme of International Law in London before he received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. He completed Harvard Law School’s mediator training course in 2000.

Steve’s articles on various aspects of law have appeared in publications both in the U.S. and abroad, including The Nevada Lawyer, The Federal Bar News and Journal and The Asia-Pacific Lawyers’ Association Journal.

His first Nevada legal guide, Elements of Nevada Legal Theories (now in its Third Edition), is widely used by Nevada judges and attorneys.  He has also published numberous other books.

Steve served as Vice-Chair of the Nevada State Bar’s Northern Nevada Disciplinary Board and he was a member, for many years, of Nevada’s Medical Screening Panel. He was the long-time Chair of the Nevada State Bar’s Consumer Protection Committee and he currently serves on Nevada’s Revised Jury Instruction Committee.  He is a court-appointed mediator in Federal inmate civil rights cases in the United States District Court, District for Nevada, and he serves as an arbitrator in Washoe County District Court

Steve is a widely recognized photographer and digital artist and he works programs such as Dreamweaver, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. His work has been seen in actual and virtual galleries in locations around the world and he was recently invited to become a Visiting Professor of Art at Luxun Fine Art Academy, a well-known art university in northern China. 

When he is not staring at a computer, Steve is an avid hiker, biker and snowboarder.  

Kevin Wang, PhD

Kevin Wang, PhD, lives in Taiwan and Los Angeles and owns, oversees and sits on the board of many companies and institutions, including the Taiwan Agricultural Mechanization Research and Development Center, the Wang Rong Jun Cultural Foundation, Wang-Ta Iron Works, Rong Xiang Investment Company, Kevin Industrial and Agricultural Company, Tong Jiuh Enterprise Company, Yeh Hsing Industrial Machine Company, Ebara Densan Manufacturing Company and the Chin Hing Trading Company.

Kevin holds the exclusive license to sell Ducati motorcycles in Taiwan and he owns the Ducati dealership in Taipei, Taiwan. Kevin is also a co-owner and Manager of AttorneyPoint.com, a digital design and stock media company for attorneys located in Reno, Nevada.

Kevin received his degree in law from Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan. He completed his master’s degree in law from Meijo University in Japan, and he received his doctorate in law from the Macau University of Science and Technology. He is a law professor at Providence University in Taichung, Taiwan.

Kevin is an expert dressage rider and keeps horses in Taichung, Taiwan. He is a national umpire for the Chinese Taipei Equestrian Association. He has served as the vice-chairman and the secretary general of the Chinese Taipei Equestrian Association and he has ridden and competed throughout the world.
